Seventeen exciting days to explore the coast and the hinterland, from San Francisco to Los Angeles, with stops in parks, between boundless canyons, and in the most suggestive locations overlooking the ocean. You will have the freedom to move day by day with a rental car that you can pick up upon your arrival at the airport and you will be able to stop in the most iconic places that have made California famous all over the world.

It begins with five days in San Francisco, a multi-ethnic, lively city full of interesting sites to visit such as Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge and the Coit Tower, an early 1900s architecture built in Pioneer Park. In the city you will love the street food, the lively clubs, the welcoming people and the many places of art and culture that you can admire during your stay.

You will continue to Monterey, a delightful coastal city, full of historic buildings and home to an unmissable aquarium and Carmel, a place rich in wildlife and natural beauty as well as numerous museums and art galleries where you can appreciate typically American works. And then further south Santa Cruz welcomes you with its trendy clubs, its panoramic paths and a wide sandy beach ideal for a few hours of pure relaxation.

And still on the road to reach Pleasanton, a city in Alameda County, in the East Bay of San Francisco with its historic districts and its mild climate all year round.

In the following days there will be a succession of naturalistic visits of rare beauty and intensity between parks, valleys and canyons.

You’ll be surprised by the immensity of Yosemite National Park and Zion Park amidst breathtaking scenery and views to immortalize.

A stop in Las Vegas, in the state of Nevada, is a must, among lights, lively nights, casinos, iconic architecture and entertainment of all kinds.

And yet the most famous cities of New Mexico, from Santa Fe rich in history and culture to Albuquerque where you can discover Native American traditions and culture, passing through Gallup, the gateway to the Navajo Nation, with attractions such as the Gallup Cultural Center and the Red Rock Museum.

But there is still so much to discover by driving in the sunny state of Arizona, between the towns of Flagstaff and Seligman on the famous Route 66 and its suggestive landscapes, before returning to the Californian coast and stopping in the beautiful and verdant city of Santa Barbara with its sandy beaches, excellent wineries and a renowned culinary and cultural scene that is not to be missed.

Finally, Los Angeles, a fascinating and lively metropolis, famous throughout the world for its film industry, with Hollywood and many famous people. You will get lost in the wonderful mix of cultures, between its busy highways and its busiest neighborhoods such as Beverly Hills and Melrose Place. You will stop at the sandy beach of Venice Beach and appreciate every hour of stay in the city between excellent multi-ethnic food and exciting nightlife.
