The adventure begins in Ulaanbaatar, where the National History Museum, Piazza Gengis Khan and the monastery of Gandan are exploded, before experiencing the emotion of a meeting with a singer of Khoomi, the suggestive Mongolian guttural song. From here, the journey continues towards the heart of the Gobi desert, crossing spectacular landscapes up to the imposing rock formations of gazryn chuluu baggage, where the life of the local nomadic rangers is discovered.
In the South Gobi, the suggestive Valle dei Rapaci (Yolyn Am) enchants with its canyons and ice slabs that also resist in summer. The majestic dunes of Khongoryn Els are then reached, known as the "dunes that sing" for the sound they produce in the wind. In Bayanzag, among the fascinating "flaming clusters", he retraces the history of dinosaurs thanks to the numerous fossils found in the area, while the meeting with a family of camel breeders offers an authentic immersion in nomadic culture.
The itinerary continues towards the Monastery of Ongi, an ancient pearl of Mongolian Buddhism, now under reconstruction. In Kharakorum, the former capital of the Mongolian Empire, the monastery of Erdene Zuu, with its 108 white stupa, and the archaeological museum that preserves precious testimonies of the past are visited. In Khar Balgas, a culinary experience with a local family allows you to discover the secrets of Mongolian cuisine and prepare typical dishes.
The last stage leads to the Hustain Nuruu National Park, where you can admire the Takhi horses, the last wild specimens in the world, in an adventurous off -road excursion. Back in Ulaanbaatar, the meeting with a shaman and a show of traditional dances and music conclude this extraordinary journey in the heart of Mongolia.
