The ideal trip to discover the pearls of the Baltic countries with a tour of the cities of Riga, Tallinn and Helsinki, which welcome you to the most iconic places in Northern Europe, with engaging guided tours and time available for optional excursions.
The tour begins in the splendid city of Riga, the capital of Latvia overlooking the Baltic Sea, an icon of Northern Europe and declared a Unesco heritage site. Among the streets of its historic center you will be enchanted by its beauty and artistic essence. The palaces and squares are full of monuments that are expressions of different architectural styles and range from Art Nouveau to Romanesque, Gothic, Baroque, and Classical.
We continue towards Sigulda, a characteristic town called the “Switzerland of Latvia”, where you can admire the castles in a verdant landscape.
Once in Tallinn you will be able to make suggestive visits to the Orthodox cathedral, to the imposing castle, moving within the enchanting medieval village. To deepen your knowledge of Tallinn, an optional excursion awaits you in the green heart of the city, in the Kadriorg gardens where the majestic Petrine baroque style palace stands out.
Halfway through the journey, a ferry transfer will take you to Helsinki, Finland, where a three-day stay is planned to discover the wonders of this city overlooking the sea.
You will be struck by the wonderful contrasts between modernity and ancient history, and you will be able to admire architectural examples of great artistic importance such as the Parliament Building, the Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art and the Orthodox Cathedral of Uspensk. Between one visit and another, there will be pleasant stops for a coffee and a typical traditional lunch, in one of the many bars in the city centre.
Finally, a pleasant excursion to Porvoo, not far from Helsinki, where you will be welcomed among picturesque colored houses and medieval streets. In the town, the ancient Town Hall of 1764, with its museum, is worth a stop.
In Porvoo you can taste the exquisite locally produced chocolate to delight your taste buds before returning to Italy.
By paying a deposit equal to approximately 5-10% of the amount of the trip you will be able to block availability, our team will check that the dates you have chosen are available and if there is a positive response the booking will be considered made, you will be contacted to complete payment and receive all travel documents, otherwise the deposit amount will be refunded immediately.
