The 12-day tour with an Italian-speaking guide visits some of the most beautiful and wild protected sites in the area where you can admire many different species of plants and animals, in protected areas where biodiversity is capable of exciting!

We begin with a visit to Quito, at 2850 meters above sea level, from where you can see a beautiful panorama of the peaks of the Andes. With a short guided tour in the delightful historic city centre, declared a UNESCO heritage site, you will be projected into an atmosphere of times gone by, among architecture and squares with strong references to the colonial era.

Not far from Quito you can visit the exact point where the equator passes, called "la mitad del mundo", the equatorial line that divides the planet into two hemispheres.

In the following days there will be a wonderful succession of excursions in the green heart of the country between uncontaminated nature and sites of rare beauty such as the Panacocha biological corridor, a protected area that preserves Amazonian biodiversity.

The enchantment of green places rich in lakes, rivers and dense vegetation will give you intense suggestions in protected areas such as the Indillama and the Napo River, a tributary of the great Amazon River, among infinite horizons, lights and colors that create pure magic!

With a visit to Yasuni National Park you will find yourself in contact with the lush rainforest, declared a Biosphere Reserve, a unique place where the indigenous Huaorani still live today. There will be many opportunities to take beautiful photos, such as at Blackwater Lake, the dark river with deep waters that passes through wooded and marshy areas, and from the top of the Canopy Tower among the colors of nature and sightings of animals endemic to the area such as howler monkeys. Here birdwatching lovers will be able to immortalize a rich variety of birds that live in the area.

But it's not over yet! After the relaxing and evocative cruise, a break of pure well-being and relaxation awaits you at the Papallacta Spa, not far from the city of Quito, in a volcanic area where natural springs of hot water flow, rich in minerals and calcium, which will be able to regenerate you sooner to leave for Italy at the end of this heavenly journey.
