Lake Idro is the smallest of the Brescia lakes, not far from the famous Lake Garda, but with one big difference: it is less crowded and therefore more peaceful and authentic. A real jewel in the green mountains of the Sabbia Valley, which gives space to numerous villages of medieval origin, complete with ancient military fortresses and places of important historical events. We will visit Idro, the largest centre on the shores of the lake. We will then move to nearby Bagolino to personally test one of the area's excellences: Bagoss cheese, which is only produced here.
