The Quad excursion is ideal for those who want to discover the nature of Etna by experiencing an off-road adventure. The excursion takes place throughout the entire itinerary on an automatic and easy to drive Quad
safely transport up to a maximum of two people, who will be responsible for their own
half.
During the journey we will cross an eruptive fracture, driving between long fields of lava and sand
black volcano and we will visit one of the many beauties that distinguish Etna: a cave of
lava flow. We will then stop to see a typical building of the area, "U PAGGHIARU",
similar to the Sardinian nuraghi or the Apulian trulli.
Continuing along the route we will cross the Etna broom forest, we will go downhill
of the lava flow channels, passing between lunar landscapes and "Dagale", surrounded wooded islands
from petrified lava.
We will cross a forest of Etna pine trees, following the bed of a dry stream, where the
landscape is characterized by the alternation of lava and woods. We will then return to the point of
departure and we will finish the Quad Tour
The experience can be booked in the following periods:
from January to April from 09.30 to 15.30
from April to June from 09.30 to 17.30
from June to September from 09.30 to 19.00
from 15 September to 31 December from 09.00 to 15.30
The booking is based on the Quad which can carry up to 2 people, so in the case of 2 people select quantity 1 (e.g. 3 people 2 quads, 4 people 2 quads etc.)
To be sure of finding a place, book at least 2-3 days in advance
