Sardinian shepherds have an ancient history and equally ancient is the tradition that has been handed down for generations. A world has almost forgotten due to increasingly difficult markets to deal with, today they remain a precious asset not only for Sardinia but for the whole of Italy. To fully understand what makes these workers special, all that remains is to follow them for a day, during the milking phases of the sheep or the cows, experimenting with your own energy on what it means to move a flock or produce the delicious local cheese. A picnic will relieve you of fatigue, based on local cured meats and cheeses, to stay a little longer immersed in life on the farm.
