Venice designed and built the fort to defend the Friulian territory from the raids of the Turks and the ever-present expansionist aims of the Habsburgs. Chardonnay PGI, Friulano DOC, Pinot Grigio PGI but also Cabernet PGI and Merlot PGI are just some of the wines produced by this selected company. In the renovated Wine Shop you can buy the delicious wines so loved by Casanova, the wines of Castello di Spessa DOC Collio and DOC Friuli Isonzo as well as grappas and spirits that go well with the typical products of Friuli Venezia Giulia
